17 Tulsa teens rounded up for curfew violations following bonfire

Updated:
More than a dozen teenagers found themselves in trouble with the law late Tuesday evening.

A police helicopter spotted a fire on the hill at 61st and Sheridan. The teens were apparently having a party so they built a bonfire. Tulsa Police officers and fire crews responded, and that's when the teens scattered but not for long. Tulsa Police Corporal Randall Solomon, “due to the fact it was on a hill with a wooded area, we all responded out and we have 17 juveniles in custody for curfew violations.”

There were four girls and 13 boys rounded up, they ranged in ages from 14-to-17. None were taken to jail, but their parents were called to pick them up.
