Two arrested in mobile meth lab bust in Sand Springs

A meth lab bust early Friday sends two people to jail. A Sand Springs police officer stopped a driver for failing to stay in his lane.

As the officer talked to the driver, he noticed several items associated with a meth lab and he also noticed a strong odor. He then asked for consent to search the vehicle. Sand Springs Police officer Dave Lacroix, “Upon searching the vehicle, he found u some pills, a meth lab that was being moved and some finished product of methamphetamines and about 4500 worth of cash.”

The police drug team was called in to clean up the lab. A man and woman both in their 30's have been arrested.

Charges are pending.
