Finkbeiner indefinitely suspends ORU player

TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Stephanie Clark, second-leading scorer for the Oral Roberts women's basketball team, has been suspended indefinitely.

Coach Jerry Finkbeiner said Clark remains in good standing with the university.

``This is a basketball-related matter and is being handled internally,'' he said Thursday. ``We will not comment further at this time.''

Clark, a sophomore forward, is averaging 11.7 points per game and leads the team with 7.8 rebounds per game. She was named to the Mid-Continent Conference all-freshman team last year.
