(Norman-AP) -- The University of Oklahoma stadium will be ready for fans by August 30th.
Athletic Director Joe Castiglione says fans will not be impaired in any way as they enter the stadium.
He says the $83-million renovation of the facility is right on schedule.
Some minor details like painting a wall or railing will still be going on, but nothing that fans will notice.
Not even the wind storm that blew through Norman managed to set back construction.
Castiglione says fans are constantly e-mailing him asking about the stadium's progress.
Seating capacity will jump by more than 7,000 to about 81,000.
