(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The wife and daughter of former Oklahoma coach and current Dallas Cowboy assistant coach Gary Gibbs are hospitalized following a deadly SUV accident.

The one-vehicle rollover happened Thursday night on Interstate 35 in southern Oklahoma.

Gibbs has left Cowboys training camp in San Antonio to be with his family.

49-year-old Jeanne Gibbs of Norman is hospitalized in serious condition in Oklahoma City while 22-year-old Whitley Gibbs of Norman is listed in fair condition.

22-year-old Austin McKaig of Norman was killed and his mother, 48-year-old Janis McKaig of Norman, was seriously injured.

The accident occurred north of the McClain-Garvin County line when the SUV driven by Jeanne Gibbs swerved to miss a small animal in the road.
