Grape harvest begins next week in Oklahoma

Oklahoma's newest cash crops are expected to deliver a high yield next week. That's when state wineries will begin harvesting their grapes.

This will be the first year Oklahoma grape growers and wine makers will be able to sell their products at festivals and trade shows.

Wine production in our state is on the rise, in 1999, there were only two licensed wineries. Today, there are 17.
