Here's an update on a story the News on 6 told you about Monday. Neighbors in Tulsa's Florence Park wondered why the city was tearing up good streets and sidewalks and replacing them.
Public Works told us Tuesday; the city is replacing water lines in that area, a project funded by a 1999 bond issue. They say sidewalks were redone to add wheelchair ramps at the corners.
The city says it sent out notices and held public meetings before the work began.
