Red Cross volunteers headed east

As Hurricane Isabel gets closer to making landfall, Oklahomans are already on the way to help. Tuesday afternoon two Tulsa Area Red Cross volunteers hit the road on board the local Emergency Response Vehicle.

They're headed to a staging area in Nashville, Tennessee. Red Cross volunteer Emily Kimberling, "We're going down under mass care, shelters and food. These are the ERV's. They serve food. They take meals to the shelters, serve hundreds and hundreds of people there."

Oklahoma sent a total of five emergency response vehicles and ten volunteers. They'll be gone for about three weeks.
