Moore school officials on alert after four incidents

(Moore-AP) -- Moore school officials say they're on alert after four recent incidents of men trying to get children into their cars near elementary schools.

Three of the incidents were at or near Moore schools and the fourth was near a southwest Oklahoma City school, within two miles of Moore schools.

The first occurred last Tuesday in southwest Oklahoma City when a man in a black van grabbed a girl and tried pull her into his van. The girl broke free and ran away.

The second incident was last Wednesday when a boy reported two men in a black pickup truck asked him if he wanted a ride.

Two days later, another boy reported a man in a black truck asked him if he wanted a ride to school.

The latest incident was Friday when a man in a white car asked another boy if he wanted a ride.
