(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Most of CareerTech's budget is going to employee raises and health care benefits.

The budget for the year starting July 1st is the same as last year -- $123-million.

CareerTech's employees will get the same $1,400 annual pay raise that all state workers are getting. The Legislature required the raise.

The Legislature was critical of CareerTech spending this season, and it encouraged the CareerTech board to give more money to schools for CareerTech programs. The Legislature didn't want to increase the amount of state appropriations going to the technology centers.
