Concerns of flooding in a Tulsa neighborhood when a large water main breaks early Tuesday morning.

Rushing water woke up people in the neighborhood around 4th and Vandalia. A 24 inch water main broke, and that means low water pressure in the area until crews can fix it. The rushing water turned the street into a river.

Firefighters were called out to rescue one man who was trapped in his car. Other residents looked for ways to get their vehicles to higher ground. There are no reports of any homes that flooded, but there was some property damage.

City of Tulsa crews also worked another water main break early Tuesday, this one in east Tulsa. A 12-inch line broke near 11th and Mingo. It too sent water rushing.

That could mean low pressure for people in that area as well until repairs are completed.
