Suspect identified, but no arrests made in death of Locust Grove woman

Updated:
(Locust Grove-AP) -- Authorities in Mayes County say they have identified a possible suspect in a shooting death last month, but have yet to make an arrest.

43-year-old Tammy Rohde was found shot to death in her Locust Grove mobile home May 27th. A medical examiner's report indicates Rohde was shot once in the left hand and three times in the head.

Sheriff's Lieutenant Patricia Knowles says authorities want to have all of their evidence in line before they make any arrests.

Knowles says authorities have not ruled out the possibility that more than one person may have been involved in the homicide.

Investigators believe a 9-millimeter semi-automatic handgun was used in the killing, although the weapon has not yet been recovered.
