A Tulsa company salutes our military men and women. Dollar Thrifty signed a statement of support for the National Guard and Reserves Thursday.
The company says it'll go above and beyond what the law says employers must do to protect the jobs of returning Guard members, by supplementing military pay if it's less than the company pay.
Dollar Thrifty CEO Gary L Paxton: "We think that should give them the freedom to achieve their mission overseas and know their families here at home still should have an income adequate that they can still live a fairly decent standard on."
Dollar Thrifty has about 400 workers nationwide who were called to active duty.
