(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa will be the site for several Mid-Continent Conference athletic tournaments in the upcoming season.

The Tulsa Sports Commission will host the men's and women's basketball tournaments, while Oral Roberts will host the baseball tournament, the volleyball tournament and the men's and women's track and field tournament.

O-R-U president Richard Roberts was elected as the chair of the Mid-Con Presidents Council for 2004-2005.

O-R-U Athletic Director Mike Carter will serve as the chair of the Mid-Con Joint Council, while O-R-U's Terry Unruh will chair the Mid-Con Faculty Athletics Representatives.
