A real piece of American history is in Tulsa. Gilcrease Museum has certified copies of the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation on display.

These copies are the only authorized documents in existence. Two other rare documents are also on display. They include a hand written letter by Benjamin Franklin.

Pat Schnake with Gilcrease Museum: "It's unbelievable the penmanship, the neatness of these documents and for being over 200 years old, they're in pretty good condition."

The documents have been in the Gilcrease collection for about 50 years. They're displayed only on special occasions. The exhibit will be open for about six months.
