(Muskogee-AP) -- The trial for a Tahlequah businessman accused in a murder-for-hire scheme has been delayed until next month.
The federal court clerk in Muskogee says the trial for Hugh Alan Means is rescheduled for August 30th. It was originally scheduled to begin today.
Means was indicted earlier this year on ten counts related to a failed murder-for-hire scheme.
Authorities allege Means offered to pay 15-thousand to have another person killed. Authorities have not released the name of the intended victim or the person Means allegedly asked to carry out the killing.
