Two people injured in Tulsa traffic accident

Two people are hospitalized after an accident in a busy shopping area Saturday afternoon.

Tulsa Police say the driver of a car tried to turn left across three lanes of traffic into the Target parking lot on 71st Street. The driver was broadsided by a truck in the far lane.

Traffic was slowed down for awhile while emergency crews cleared the roadway.

    The attorney for the Oklahoma Department of Health has resigned effective immediately, an official for the department confirmed to News 9. Julie Ezell resigned on Friday, days after the department adopted rules for the implementation of medical marijuana across the state. There was no indication why Ezell resigned.
