The recent movement in some states to recognize gay marriage has prompted other states to enact legislation that would block those marriages. There's a proposed law in Oklahoma which would do that.

The News on 6 teamed up with the Tulsa World to ask registered voters across the state if they would vote for or against it.

The results are overwhelmingly in favor of a law which would state that marriage is only between one man and one woman. On this issue, the two sides of the state are in agreement.

But, about 7% more voters in Tulsa favor the law than in Oklahoma City.

You can read more about the findings in Friday's Tulsa World.
