Cherokee County couple arrested for making meth

Two Cherokee County residents are the first to be charged with breaking Oklahoma's new pseudoephedrine law.

That law is supposed to crack down on meth making. 50-year old James Kessinger Senior and 25-year old Roberta Studie are in custody. Investigators say the pair purchased more than nine grams of pseudoephedrine within 30 days last month.

The two already faced charges of making meth.
