Lloyd Haskin’s nursing home in Hominy is at the center of abuse allegations. The irony, he's on the board advising nursing homes, and the Governor put him there.
Lloyd Haskins owns the Hominy Nursing Home. Now he's in court fighting to get control back, after the state took over his facility.
State inspectors claim to have found 16 immediate jeopardy violations at the facility's last inspection. Violations include residents sexually abusing each other and withholding cigarettes as a form of punishment.
While fighting to get control back, Haskin's attorney had little to say. Geoffrey Standing Bear: "we're in the middle of a hearing I don't think it would be appropriate to say anything."
The Governor's office who appointed Haskins to one of these nursing home boards, says it's too premature to act until the investigation is final.
