IDABEL, Okla. (AP) -- State agents raided a moonshine operation today, confiscating what one investigator says is the largest still he's ever seen.
Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement agents hauled away 35 gallons of illegal corn whiskey and arrested Dave Jay Williams.
A half-dozen agents clad in camouflage joined local sheriffs to conduct the raid about 11 miles southwest of Idabel.
ABLE enforcement officer HT Scott says the still consisted of a 185-gallon cooker with a copper cooling coil 30 feet long.
Williams was booked into the county jail on a felony complaint of possession of a moonshine still and a misdemeanor complaint of possessing untaxed liquor.
The still was camouflaged by a tin barn where Williams keeps horses.
