There was a bittersweet celebration in the town of Pryor as residents welcomed home one soldier son and said good-bye to another.
Scott Caskey grew up with and served alongside Kyle Brinlee, who was Pryor's first casualty in Iraq. Caskey and fellow soldier Gade Sevigny are home on two weeks' leave. And they made a special presentation Tuesday night to Brinlee's grandfather. They say Kyle was a hero.
National Guard soldier Scott Caskey: "Everybody he was around was just, everyone had smiles on their faces he brought joy to everybody, he was a real good person."
The two soldiers then shared a meal with members of St. Mark's parish. Organizers say the event honored not only the soldiers who could be there in person, but everyone serving in Iraq.
