OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Governor Brad Henry says a House committee should vote in public on whether Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher should be impeached.
Henry also says the committee's final report should be made public immediately after Speaker Larry Adair reviews it. A House spokesman says there is no timetable for releasing the report.
The special committee ended a two-day meeting yesterday without announcing its recommendations. Committee chairman Representative Opio Toure says the panel will meet again at 2 P-M Monday to wrap up its work.
Toure wouldn't say if the bipartisan panel will vote in public on the report. The Oklahoma City Democrat did say information under seal from the court would be deleted from the report.
Henry says if the committee recommends impeachment, Fisher should resign.
