Shawnee Police warn about counterfeit bills

SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) -- The Shawnee Police Department has received several reports of counterfeit f$5, $10 and $20 bills in the past week.

Shawnee Interim Police Chief Conny Clay confirmed that several fake bills showed up at local convenience stores and restaurants.

Clay says many of the bills look fake.

The cases and evidence are being turned over to the US Secret Service.
