OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Hawkish poured on the juice in the final yards to win Friday's allowance feature at Remington Park.
Under Cliff Berry, Hawkish rallied from the back of the short field, passing Zee Oh Six to win by a length.
Hawkish covered the 1-mile, 70-yard event in 1:41.47 over a fast main track. Zee Oh Six held second after setting the pace for every step of the race until the final strides. Pleasant Bend was along for third.
Away from the gates at 2-1 odds, Hawkish paid $6.20 to win, $4.20 to place and $3.20 to show. Zee Oh Six paid $7 to place and $4.40 to show. Pleasant Bend paid $3 to show.
Jockey Kevin Cogburn won three races Friday, on Mac Daddy ($2.40 to win) in the opener, Dance With Bo ($8.40) in the third and Mesquite M ($7.80) in the fifth.
Cogburn now has 11 wins on the season. Berry leads with 41 victories.
The Thoroughbred Meeting continues with a nine-race program on Saturday.
