Memorial service Tuesday for Broken Arrow Air Force officer killed in Qatar

Updated:
An Oklahoma soldier recently killed is helping others to survive. Air Force Captain John Boria died last Sunday after his recreational vehicle crashed in Qatar.

Boria chose to be an organ donor while he was alive. Now his kidneys are saving others in Qatar and his heart was flown to a patient in Saudi Arabia. Doctors are hoping to use his liver and other organs to save even more people.

A memorial service for Boria will be held Tuesday afternoon in Broken Arrow. He'll be laid to rest in the Air Force Academy cemetery in Colorado Springs.
