OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- An Oklahoma City woman facing truancy charges is now looking at additional drug and weapons charges.
Court officials say Cherryl Lashawn Lee was charged with misdemeanor truancy last year when her children failed to show up for school regularly.
A warrant was issued for her arrest after she failed to show up in court.
Lee was arrested after a search of her home turned up marijuana, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and two loaded firearms. Three children under the age of 8 were in the home at the time.
Lee is charged with possession of drugs with intent to distribute, possession of drugs in the presence of children and possession of a firearm after former conviction of a felony.
