Comanche Tribe gets COPS grant

LAWTON, Okla. (AP) -- The Comanche Tribe is getting a more than $107,000 federal grant.

The US Department of Justice is providing the money to the tribe from the Community Oriented Police Services, or COPS, program.

The money is to help the tribe buy basic law enforcement equipment and crime fighting technology systems, and for police training.
