A new national report shows Oklahoma's pre-kindergarten program is tops in the nation. The report details programs in all 50 states.
It was done by the Trust for Early Education. And it says Oklahoma sets the standards for other states in terms of quality and access.
It also says the state should consider expanding its services to even younger children. Most students enrolled in pre-kindergarten are 4 years old.
The group would like to expand the initiative to serve 3 year olds.
