A Tulsa Christian school goes on trial

Testimony began Tuesday in the civil lawsuit against Tulsa's Grace Fellowship Christian School.

At issue, is whether school leaders did enough to protect students from a teacher who was molesting young boys. The families of five of the boys molested are suing Grace Fellowship, pastor Bob Yandian, administrators Chip Olin, John Dunlavey, Mary Hood, Dee McKay and the molestor, Aaron Thompson.

Thompson's edited videotaped depositions were the first testimony presented to the jury. He admitted molesting seven different boys on school grounds.

He said the school talked to him about his conduct in the fall of 2001 and even received anonymous letters about his behavior, but never restricted his access to students until his arrest in the spring of 2002.
