It hosted some of the biggest stars during its heyday. On Thursday, Tulsa's Camelot Hotel will be demolished. The final steps are underway to prep the building at 4900 S. Peoria for the wrecking ball.

Over the last few months, workers removed asbestos from the building so it could be safely demolished. The building will be cut apart, not imploded. The job should take a couple of days.

The site was purchased by QuikTrip. The company plans to build its 500th store at that location.
