The icy weather that moved through Northeast Oklahoma Sunday morning left thousands of people without power. PSO reports 10,226 customers without power in the Tulsa metropolitan area. A PSO spokesperson tells The News On 6 that 1,700 Vinita customers and 4,700 Bartlesville customers are also without electricity.

A spokesman with Northeast Oklahoma Electric says 2,000 customers are without electricity in Rogers County, Craig County, and points north.

OG&E reports outages in the following towns: 369 customers in Oilton, 181 customers in Jennings, 467 in Drumright, 684 customers in Chandler, and 1,111 in Midwest City.

Customers who lose electricity should report it to their power company as soon as possible. All of the power companies contacted by The News On 6 say they will have crews working around the clock to restore service.
