Tulsa robbery detectives need help to catch a crook. They're looking for a man who robbed a pizza place, with an unusual weapon. News On 6’s crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports the robbery happened at the Dominoes at 7020 E. Admiral Pl. on Monday, November 19th around 8:30 p.m.
A man wearing a dark ski jacket over a blue or green shirt, walked in, hiding his weapon.
"Black male goes inside and produces a rifle that he was hiding underneath his coat," said TPD Officer Leland Ashley.
He pointed the .22-caliber rifle at the employees, got the money and ran outside to a waiting get-away car and got into the passenger side.
"He ran to a waiting vehicle, described as late 80s or early 90s boxy style vehicle, maybe a Monte Carlo or a Caprice," said Officer Ashley.
Witnesses say the car resembles an old police car. Police hope someone saw it leave the Dominoes in a hurry, heading west.
Anyone with information about the robbery can call Crimestoppers, at 596-COPS. If your anonymous tip leads to an arrest, the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you a cash reward.
