Thieves targeted a Tulsa bank which had no electricity over the weekend and made off with a bank safe. Tulsa Police say bank employees arrived at the MidFirst Bank at 42nd and Peoria Monday morning to find a big hole in the back of the bank and a safe inside the bank stolen.

Police say it appears the burglars used sledgehammers to bust the brick in the outer wall and cutting saws to cut through the middle studs. The thieves stole a safe that weighs at least a thousand pounds. Police officers say it had to have taken the suspects at least a half-hour to do all of that.
