County Still Awaiting Payment From January Storm

Updated:
Washington County Emergency Management officials are still waiting for payment from the federal government for damage caused by a January ice storm even as they deal with damage from this month's ice storm.

County emergency management director Kary Cox says Washington County has had several natural disasters this year that qualify for presidential declarations, but so far, no federal money has arrived. The list of disasters also includes flooding which caused damage in Bartlesville and Dewey.
