Red Cross Looking For Blood Donors

With the hustle and bustle of the holidays and of course this monthâ€™s ice storm, there is a great need for blood right now. The American Red Cross is hoping a blood donation could be your "last gift to give" this year. Red Cross officials say because of the ice storm, more than 600 units of blood could not be collected last week.

You can help at a special blood drive Friday and Saturday.

American Red Cross blood centers located at 11th Street and U.S. Highway 169 and at 7158 S. Memorial will be open Friday until 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
