FORT SUPPLY, Okla. (AP) -- The Fort Supply school district gets a Christmas present from a nearby wind farm. Edison Mission Group, owner of the Sleeping Bear Wind Farm, announced during last week's Christmas pageant that it plans to donate $375,000 to the Fort Supply school system last week.

Operations manager Joe Banks described the donation as a financial partnership between Edison Mission Group and Fort Supply school. He says the $75,000 installments over a five-year period will do a lot to help make improvements to the district.

Fort Supply Superintendent Pat Howell says the school doesn't have any specific plans for the money, and will manage the gift wisely for now.
