A man is hit and killed crossing the street after leaving a convenience store. It happened Saturday night at the 2200 block of north Harvard. Police say the driver was taken into custody. Officers are checking to see how fast he was going and whether he was drunk.
EMSA pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Officers are talking with witnesses.
Police aren't releasing the names of the driver or the victim.
