Emergency crews found the body of a 20-year-old Wagoner man in Fort Gibson Lake early Sunday morning. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say William Sanders and seven others were swimming between the courtesy dock and the boat ramp. The others told police when they looked back, Sanders was gone. After an unsuccessful attempt to find him, they called 911.
His body was found in about 12 feet of water. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says none of the people involved were wearing life jackets.
