A North Tulsa neighborhood and police team up to solve problems. Interim Chief David Bostrom and other members of TPD talked with residents at the Chamberlain Park Community Center Saturday. The chief says many community members were concerned about services available to help them provide a positive influence. He says they'll work together to identify different programs available to parents that can help steer their children in the right direction.

"The thing about this, this is just not another neighborhood meeting where people sit and complain about what's going on in the neighborhood and schedule the next meet date. We've come together to try and identify a specific issue and work together on an action plan to address that issue,” Tulsa Police Interim Chief David Bostrom said. “And hopefully you know, as this thing move down the road we're gonna have some results and some outcomes, other than when are we meeting next."

Chief Bostrom says there's another meeting scheduled in a couple of weeks.
