A Tulsa Police officer is treated for injuries he received in a scuffle with a suspect. It happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday when the officer responded to a burglary call at 2400 West Pine Place, said police. When the officer arrived the suspect, identified at 48-year-old Daniel Fields, was still on the scene. He fought with officers, who pepper sprayed him, police said.
The News On 6 was told a police officer got pepper spray in his face, and hurt his leg on a metal railing during the struggle. The officer was treated at the scene and is okay.
Daniel Fields, who had outstanding warrants in Osage County, was arrested. Heâ€™s expected to be charged with assault and battery of a police officer, burglary and violating a protective order, police said.
