Oklahoma's 100th birthday will be celebrated in Bartlesville today with floats, bands and crowds in a Centennial parade. The parade gets underway at 4:30 p.m. in downtown Bartlesville. The parade coincides with the American Legion World Series, which is beginning this week.

The American Legion World Series will bring the top eight teams of teens between the ages of 15 to 19 to Bartlesville.

The World Series runs August 24 through the 28th at the Doenges stadium in downtown Bartlesville.
