Light Snow, Drizzle Expected Across Oklahoma

A chance for light snow and freezing drizzle is expected across Oklahoma as a cold front pushes into the state Monday.

The National Weather Service says the Arctic air is looming just north of the state and is expected to move south later in the day, dropping temperatures and creating a chance for a wintry mix of precipitation.

There is a slight chance of light snow in far northwest Oklahoma during the day Monday, with a chance for light showers elsewhere and daytime highs ranging from the upper 20s in northwest Oklahoma to the upper 40s in southern parts of the state.

The chance for light snow will continue tonight, with a chance for light freezing drizzle and freezing rain in central and eastern sections of the state. Overnight lows are to range from around 10 degrees in northwest Oklahoma to near 30 in the south.
