John Edwards To Campaign In Tulsa On Tuesday

Former U.S. Senator John Edwards will be making a campaign stop in Tulsa Tuesday morning.  This will be the second visit to Oklahoma by the Democratic presidential candidate this year.  Last month, Edwards visited Oklahoma City to rally supporters in Oklahoma.  

"Powerful entrenched interests are standing in the way of the change our country desperately needs," said Edwards.  "We need to stand up for the middle class and American jobs before it's too late.  Saving the middle class is going to be an epic battle, and that's a fight I was born for.  I know that if we stand together, we can take back our country.  We can build the One America we all believe in." 

Oklahoma is one of a number of states taking part in the February 5th "Super Tuesday" primary. 

Edwards has received the endorsement of several state lawmakers as well as the endorsement of the Transport Workers Union.  Tuesday's campaign stop will be at the TWU union hall at 11945 E. Pine Street in Tulsa. 

Edwards is scheduled to speak at 8:45 a.m.
