Tulsa police say Friday night's crackdown on drunk driving paid off.  Officers teamed up with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.  They set up a sobriety check point on East Skelly Drive near 41st Street.  In just three hours they arrested 12 people for DUI.

Police say they also made four additional arrests for warrants and handed out 91 tickets.

TPD Officer Craig Murray says random checks help save lives.

Police say drinking played a factor in 40 percent of the fatal crashes in Tulsa last year.
