Human Remains Discovered In Osage County

Investigators in Osage County worked on Tuesday afternoon to identify remains found earlier in the day.  The body was discovered approximately two miles east of Highway 11 in the Candy Creek area near the Washington County line. 

The Osage County Sheriff tells the News On 6 that the remains are definitely human, but that investigators are unable to determine the race, age, or sex of the victim.
