A day after the big snowstorm across northeastern Oklahoma, many roads and highways were in pretty good shape, but freezing temps and a lack of traffic overnight may have left some places slick Friday morning.

Early Friday morning, Tulsa Police investigated a rollover accident near 34th and Sheridan.  Police say the driver of an SUV was going south on Sheridan just after 3 a.m. Friday.  The driver of the SUV saw a police car ahead of him and swerved, losing control of his vehicle.  The SUV hit the curb and rolled onto its top.

Police officers arrested the man for DUI, but the driver blamed the accident on snow and ice.

On Thursday, most roads ranged from just wet to very slushy and any water left on the road overnight turned to ice.

The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is reporting the worst conditions are across Pawnee, Osage, Washington, Nowata, Rogers, Mayes counties.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says motorists need to watch for slick bridges and overpasses in Creek County.

In Tulsa County, expect roads to be slippery in some spots, again on bridges and overpasses.
