RB Calhoun, DE Washington Among Sooners' 2008 Recruits

OU's 2008 recruiting class is taking on the look of past classes.  The Sooners received signed letters of intent from two highly rated running backs and a defensive end from Texas.

Top Oklahoma prospects receiver Jameel Owens and defensive lineman Stacey McGee from Muskogee High School signed with OU.

Defensive end R.J. Washington of Fort Worth, Texas, and running back Jermie Calhoun of Ben Wheeler, Texas, signed with the Sooners. Washington is rated as the No. 1 high school defensive end according to Rivals.com and Calhoun is the No. 2 running back.

Running back Justin Johnson of Gilmer, Texas, and Parade All-American quarterback Landry Jones of Artesia, New Mexico, also signed with OU.
