Monuments Honor Coaches

Two legendary Broken Arrow coaches are now honored in stone.

Coaches H.K. Ragsdale and Joe Robinson spent decades molding the minds and shaping the bodies of young Broken Arrow students.  To pay their respect, several former students raised more $12,000 to create the monument outside Memorial Stadium.

"We thought that after this many years so that other people recognize their contributions to Broken Arrow and the surrounding area," said Broken Arrow graduate Charles Gann.

Students say both Ragsdale and Robinson wanted the best from everyone and treated everyone fairly.
