One Person Injured, Another Killed In Separate Traffic Accidents

A man is critically injured in an auto-pedestrian accident late Wednesday night in Tulsa.

A man is critically injured in an auto-pedestrian accident late Wednesday night in Tulsa. 

The accident happened just after 10 p.m. at Cincinnati and Oklahoma Streets.  Tulsa Police say the victim was walking on Cincinnati, when a cab driver came up behind him.  The driver did not see the man until it was too late and hit him. 

The victim was transported to a Tulsa hospital with serious injuries.  Tulsa Police are still investigating. 

And a Tulsa man is dead following a traffic accident on state Highway 33 in Creek County. 

19-year old Taylor Willits was killed when he swerved to miss an animal Wednesday afternoon.  The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Willits' vehicle hit a cement culvert, causing it to overturn. 

Willits wasn't wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. 

OHP troopers say Willits suffered massive head and internal injuries.
